of the six Martinezs born abroad, during the diaspora of the XXth century...
The social crisis of the 50ties in Iberia caused a huge 'scatering' of families, in full or in parts, looking for surviving opportunities abroad. Two brands of Martinezs (one from Berdia and one from Belmonte de Campos) met casually at the Venezuelan town of San Felix de Guayana (By the Caroni and Orinoco Rivers) and banded together to make a new family, bestowing life on three 'Martinez Bis ' (M.M.) individuals (M++), named Iago, Xose (born in Caracas) and Xoana (born in Sweden). Another couple was set by a Martinez Him with an Elgarresta Her, bringing forth two M.E. girls, Bego and Miren (both born in Caracas). Still another couple was set up between a Martinez Him and a Prato Her, that begotted Andres.
